RECTOR’S REGULATION No 191

Acting on the basis of charter and regulations of Vincent Pol University in Lublin
I establish the following structure of the academic year 2021/2022.

 

• 1

1. The academic year 2021/2022 starts on 1st October 2021 and lasts until 30th September 2022.
2. The academic year is divided into two terms.

 

• 2

1. The winter semester:

The classes start on 1st October 2021 and last until 30th January 2022.

Important dates:

1. 22 December 2021 – 7 January 2022 – Christmas break
2. 31 January 2022 – 13 February 2022 – winter examination period,
3. 14 February 2022 – 18 February 2022 – break between semesters,
4. till 15 March 2022 – winter exam retake period.

1. The spring semester:

The classes start on 1 March 2022 and last until 26 June 2022.

Important dates

1. 14 April 2022 – 20 April 2022 – Easter break
2. 27 June 2022 – 10 July 2022 – spring examination period.
3. 12 September 2022 – 25 September 2022 – retake examination period.

Summer vacation starts on 11 July 2022 and lasts until 30 September 2022.

During summer vacation there is time for:

Student apprenticeship – the exact dates are specified by the deans of all departments according to the plans of studies.

The deadline for admission of BA /MA theses is 15 May 2022.

There are two deadlines for diploma exams:

• 1st deadline – until 22 July 2022.
• 2nd deadline – until 30 September 2022.

Additional free days in the academic year: 02.11.2021, 12.11.2021, 02.05.2022, 17.06.2022.

1. The Rector of the University may set additional free days during the academic year.
2. The deans of all departments are obliged to meet the deadlines in the structure of the academic year 2021/2022.
