The aim of the course is to develop all skills which will be tested during the ceriticaftion exam:
Improving communication skills and vocabulary (including professional vocabulary)
Developing listening skills, understanding various texts
Excercise in reading comprehension
Mastery of grammatical knowledge
Testing of your overall skill.

According to Art. 35 of the Act of 11 July 2011 on the professions of nurse and midwife, the right to practice the profession may be granted to a foreigner if the candidate has an official certificate of knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing to the extent necessary to perform the profession of a nurse or midwife.
After completing the access course of Polish organised by VPU, the students must take the certificate exam.
Exams organised by the National Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language are paid.
The fee is 150EUR.
The exam consists of a written and an oral part.
The written part checks:
• Knowledge of grammar
• Reading comprehension
• Listening comprehension
• Writing skills
The oral part checks the ability to express oneself, conduct a conversation and knowledge of the professional vocabulary.
