Employees of VPU trained in Slovakia

Three employees of Vincent Pol University spent several days at the University of Presov in Slovakia to exchange professional experiences and acquire new skills.

Two delegations from VPU were at the University of Presov in October. Lecturers from the physical education program spent three days in Slovakia. The first delegation included Dr. Marta Niewczas, and the second included Dr. Hab. Paweł Król and Dr. Paweł Ostrowski, Prof. VPU.

Employees of our university and the Slovak university exchanged experiences and best practices in the methodology of conducting classes in the field of physical education. The goal of these trips was to enhance the professional competence of lecturers and develop a model for the implementation of educational activities aimed at the highest level of educational and organizational success. Representatives of VPU also established new contacts with Slovak institutions, instructors, and coaches.

The trip of our lecturers also included training. Dr. Niewczas’s training, for example, included techniques and methods used in training martial arts, traditional karate, karate kihon, kata, and kumite.

Dr. Hab. Paweł Król and Dr. Paweł Ostrowski, on the other hand, participated in training on training methods and improving freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly swimming techniques.

Both trips were organized as part of the Erasmus+ program.
