Acting on the basis of charter and regulations of Vincent Pol University in Lublin
I establish the following structure of the academic year 2025/2026.

The academic year 2026/2027 starts on 1st October 2026 and lasts until 30th September 2027.
The academic year is divided into two terms.

The winter semester:
The classes start on 1st October 2026 and last until 7th February 2027.
Important dates:
21 December 2026 – 6 January 2027 – Christmas break
8 February 2027 – 21 February 2027 – winter examination period,
22 February 2027 – 26 February 2027 – break between semesters,
till 14 March 2027 – winter exam retake period.

The summer semester:
The classes start on 1 March 2027 and last until 27 June 2027.
Important dates
25 March 2027 – 31 March 2027 – Easter break
28 June 2027 – 11 July 2027 – summer examination period.
6 September 2027 – 19 September 2027 – retake examination period.

Summer vacation starts on 12 July 2027 and lasts until 30 September 2027.
During summer vacation there is time for:
Student apprenticeship – the exact dates are specified by the deans of all departments according to the plans of studies.

The deadline for admission of BA /MA theses is 15 May 2027.

There are two deadlines for diploma exams:
1st deadline – until 23 July 2027.
2nd deadline – until 30 September 2027.

Additional free days in the academic year: 28 May 2027.

The Rector of the University may set additional free days during the academic year.
The deans of all departments are obliged to meet the deadlines in the structure of the academic year 2026/2027.
