Do you want to prepare for a longer stay in Poland by learning the basics of the language? Would you like to learn and experience a new country? Or maybe you are just looking for an interesting way of spending holidays? The two-week summer school organised by VPU is a great way to combine the study of Polish language with having a great time in an international atmosphere in one of the most charming areas of Poland. The students will be accommodated in comfortable conditions in VPU Education and Recreation Center “Zielona Szkoła” in Piotrawin. Located about 60 kilometres from Lublin, in the area of a beautiful landscape park, Piotrawin is a perfect place for outdoor activities such as sport competitions, hiking and tourism. The participants of the Summer School will be able to experience it all under guidance and supervision of our qualified coaches.
But Summer School is not only recreation. Our centre also offers unmatched conditions for academic training organised and conducted by our teaching staff. Although Polish is the leading language of the course, all teachers have a good command of English, which allows for even more effective training. At later stages, the focus is shifted to the development of skills necessary for successful participation in Polish-speaking environments.

➤ intensive Survival Polish classes (4 hours a day, 5 days a week – total of 40 hours) at beginner and intermediate levels, taught by qualified and experienced teachers focusing on real-life communicative situations
➤ extra classes on Polish life and culture (1 hour a day, 5 days a week- total of 10 hours), the aim of which is to accustom the students with Polish music, film, art and current affairs.
➤ mini-olimpic games, integration games, Petanque, geocatching, cross-country running and healthy spine classes.
➤ a trip to Kazimierz Dolny – the city of artists located next to the Vistula river,
➤ a walking tour around Lublin – the capital city of the area, trips to local attractions and monuments.
➤ polish cuisine workshops.
Our summer school is aimed at anybody who wants to spend great holiday, make new friends from around the world and experience a unique and unknown country. Specifically, it should be of interest to people planning to study or live in Poland as they will have an opportunity to acquire basic linguistic skills necessary for Polish-speaking environments.
