Acting on the basis of charter and regulations of Vincent Pol University in Lublin
I establish the following structure of the academic year 2025/2026.

The academic year 2025/2026 starts on 1st October 2025 and lasts until 30th September 2026.
The academic year is divided into two terms.

The winter semester:
The classes start on 1st October 2025 and last until 8th February 2026.
Important dates:
22 December 2025 – 6 January 2026 – Christmas break
9 February 2026 – 22 February 2026 – winter examination period,
23 February 2026 – 27 February 2026 – break between semesters,
till 15 March 2026 – winter exam retake period.

The summer semester:
The classes start on 2 March 2026 and last until 28 June 2025 or 7 July 2025 for Nursing students.
Important dates
2 April 2026 – 7 April 2026 – Easter break
29 June 2026 – 12 July 2026 – summer examination period.
7 September 2026 – 20 September 2026 – retake examination period.

Summer vacation starts on 13 July 2026 and lasts until 30 September 2026.
During summer vacation there is time for:
Student apprenticeship – the exact dates are specified by the deans of all departments according to the plans of studies.

The deadline for admission of BA /MA theses is 15 May 2026.

There are two deadlines for diploma exams:
1st deadline – until 23 July 2026.
2nd deadline – until 30 September 2025.

Additional free days in the academic year: 31.10.2025, 10.11.2025, 05.06.2026

The Rector of the University may set additional free days during the academic year.
The deans of all departments are obliged to meet the deadlines in the structure of the academic year 2025/2026.
