Come and discover the Manor House of Vincent Pol and learn about the heritage of our University’s patron

The Manor House of Vincent Pol in Lublin is not only a unique biographical museum but also a place of great significance for our University, named after Vincent Pol. The manor has two primary goals: to preserve the memory of this famous poet and traveler and to highlight his influence on later generations.

“The manor house is a branch of the Literary Museum, which is part of the National Museum in Lublin. Following a recent renovation, we invite you to visit both the permanent and temporary exhibitions,” says Wiktor Kowalczyk, curator of the Manor House of Vincent Pol in Lublin. “From Tuesday to Saturday, until the end of September, we are open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and from October onwards, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM,” adds the curator.

The museum has curated excellent collections on Vincent Pol’s life and work, which you can explore in our permanent and temporary exhibitions. As you tour the manor house, you can learn about our patron’s literary and scientific achievements and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of 19th-century Poland, which served as the backdrop for his activities.

But the museum’s offerings extend beyond exhibitions; it regularly hosts conferences, workshops, and museum lessons to deepen the understanding of this remarkable figure.

The Manor House of Vincent Pol is located at 13 Kalinowszczyzna Street and is a fascinating city attraction. It is ideal not only for history and literature enthusiasts but for anyone who wishes to experience the atmosphere of bygone times and learn more about the patron of our University.
