Dozens of establishments and institutions will present themselves at VPU Career Day

The Military Clinical Hospital, the National Chamber of Physiotherapists, the Regional Chamber of Nurses and Midwives, the Lublin Regional Police Headquarters, the Social Insurance Institution or the Lublin City Hall – these are just a few of the establishments and institutions that will participate in the Career Day. The Vincent Pol University and the Municipal Employment Office in Lublin invite to this event on 12 June.

On 12 June, it is well worth reserving time. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Vincent Pol University building at 2 Choiny Street, dozens of entities will present themselves – employment agencies, hotels, medical facilities, physiotherapy companies, foundations, banks and many others.

The list of registered exhibitors includes the 1st Military Clinical Hospital with Polyclinic, Arche Hotel Lublin, Santander Bank Polska, Concentrix CVG International, Transhurt, Euro-Med, Foundations Aktywizacja, Canituus or Heros.

There will also be an opportunity to enquire about a job in the police, as the Lublin Regional Police Headquarters will have its own stand. In turn, representatives of the Lublin Regional Chamber of Nurses and Midwives will talk about career opportunities for nurses and midwives, and representatives of the National Chamber of Physiotherapists will present prospects in their sector.

It will also be possible to ask employees of the Department of Strategy and Development of the Lublin City Hall as well as the Social Insurance Institution about matters related to professional development. Specialists from the Social Insurance Institution will explain, among other things, issues related to setting up one’s own business, paying insurance contributions or start-up benefits.

There will also be stands of the event’s organisers – Vincent Pol University and the Municipal Employment Office in Lublin.

For students and non-students alike, it will be an opportunity to learn about job, internship or apprenticeship offers in the respective institutions. In turn, entrepreneurs and representatives of numerous establishments, institutions and organisations will have the opportunity to acquire interns, co-workers and even employees.

This is a very important event for university students and graduates. It is an excellent opportunity for young people to gain knowledge about job offers, talk directly to employers and find out what their requirements are. There will be an opportunity to submit CVs and learn about different professions, which can influence decisions on future careers,’ emphasises Katarzyna Kępa, director of the Municipal Labour Office in Lublin.

Additionally, during the Career Day, we invite you to a moderated discussion meeting with a coach – Anna Kaczorowska, PhD – about what competences employers expect from future employees. Ms Kaczorowska will also conduct individual sessions – how to cope with the anxiety associated with, among other things, searching for or taking up a new job. An individual session with a coach is about providing psychological support when experiencing uncertainty, anxiety, lowered mood, difficulties in making a change.

Registration is required for both the meeting and the individual sessions. Details in the link below:
