We had the pleasure of welcoming a special guest to our university – Professor Elvira Jensen Casado from Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes (UEMC) in Valladolid, Spain 🇪🇸🇵🇱. As part of the Erasmus+ programme, Professor Jensen Casado led a series of engaging classes for our English philology students.
The workshops focused on ESP – English for Specific Purposes, exploring how English is used in various professional contexts such as:
🔹 advertising and marketing techniques
🔹 crisis communication
🔹 global challenges in public relations
🔹 ethics in business and management
🔹 social media in communication
The classes were a great opportunity to explore new teaching methods, expand professional vocabulary, and share academic experiences.
During her visit, we also held a meeting to discuss plans for future collaboration – including the organization of joint Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs).
