The graduates of VPU as speakers at the International Physiotherapy Conference

Meet our outstanding graduates at the conference “Physiotherapy for the Neurological Patient in the 21st Century”!

A reminder. An international conference entitled ‘Physiotherapy of the neurological patient in the 21st century’ will be held soon, on 27 January. One of the co-organisers of this event is our university – Vincent Pol University.

The main theme of the conference is comprehensive care of the neurological patient according to the latest global guidelines. The meeting will address issues such as a state-of-the-art approach to improving the upper limb after stroke, the use of gait analysis in programming the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy, or the treatment of spasticity in a comatose patient.

Speakers at the conference included graduates VPU, experts in the field of physiotherapy.

Erik Shtaihervaldt is an experienced physiotherapist and a graduate of our university. He specialises in working with neurological patients, conducting robotic therapies using innovative equipment, including the Lokomat, the Erigo table and the C-Mill treadmill.

Kacper Kolodziej, also a graduate of our university, specialises in working with neurological patients, both children and adults. He practices classical therapy and uses robotic devices such as Lokomat, Erigo and C-Mill. Participant of many workshops and trainings in neurological rehabilitation, including the PNF method.
