With the decision of 17 July this year the Minister of Science and Higher Education has granted Vincent Pol University permission to establish a first-cycle, practical-profile degree programme in Paramedic Science.

– We are extremely pleased with the Minister’s decision because it shows that our application has been professionally prepared and meets all formal, legal and substantive requirements in this respect – says the rector of Vincent Pol University, Dr Mariusz Korczyński, professor at VPU. He adds: – This is proof of confidence in our University not only in the field of Paramedic Science, but also for our entire study offer, which we are systematically expanding to respond to the current needs of the labour market.
It should be recalled that a week ago, the Polish Accreditation Commission issued a positive opinion on the launch of Paramedic Science course at Vincent Pol University.
Studies on Paramedic Science course will be launched in October. They will be first-cycle studies, in full-time mode. It is possible to enrol for studies conducted in Polish or English.
Students will face theory and a huge dose of practice – classes will be held, among others, at VPU Medical Simulation Centre, which is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, and practical training will take place in hospitals and Emergency Medical Services. Classes will be taught by qualified lecturers-practitioners.
