Great news for those who see themselves as paramedics. Vincent Pol University is starting recruitment for the course in Paramedic Science.
– We have just received a positive opinion from the Polish Accreditation Commission for the launch of the Paramedic Science course. This is really great news for our university – stresses the president, founder and chancellor of VPU, doc. Henryk Stefanek. And he adds: – This is proof of confidence in the quality of our education. We are developing our offer with our students in mind.
For the time being, the university is launching first-cycle, full-time studies. Students will face not only theory, but also a huge dose of practice – classes will be held at the VPU Medical Simulation Centre, which is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, and work placements will take place in hospitals and Emergency Services. All under the guidance of a professional staff of lecturers-practitioners.
– In the course offerings, students will have the opportunity to acquire extensive knowledge and skills in the field of saving human life and health. The programme of studies has additionally been prepared in such a way as to pay special attention to providing assistance in difficult and crisis conditions, which, unfortunately, are close to the times we are currently living in – says Kamil Cyrski, M.Sc., the Head of the Medical Simulation Centre at VPU, who was responsible for the substantive preparation of the accreditation application.
– We are waiting for further positive feedback from the Commission on other courses we want to launch, but we will keep you informed about this – concludes chancellor, doc. Henryk Stefanek.
