The 60th anniversary of the Polish Tourist Information System was celebrated at the Lublin Conference Centre, where the authorities of the Vincent Pol University received an award for their contribution to the development of the tourist information system in Poland.
The event was organised in cooperation with the Lublin Regional Tourist Organisation and the Tourist Information Forum. The ceremony was hosted by Rafał Szmytke, CEO of the Polish Tourist Organisation, and the Deputy Marshal of the Lublin Voivodeship, Michał Mulawa, who also opened the whole ceremony. The celebrations were an excellent opportunity to honour those who have contributed to the development of the tourist information system in Poland.
One of the awards went to the President and Chancellor of the Vincent Pol University, Doc Henryk Stefanek. The statuette was awarded to him by the President of the Polish Tourist Organisation in gratitude for his contribution to the development of the tourist information system.
