“Our mission is to educate practitioners ready to meet the demands of the modern labour market,” said Rector of VPU, prof. Mariusz Korczyński, Ph.D., during the jubilee ceremony organized to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the university. The event took on an exceptionally solemn character, gathering a large group of staff and invited guests who together celebrated this significant moment in the history of the University.
The ceremony was inaugurated with speeches from the university authorities, during which there were moments of emotion and reflection on the institution’s achievements to date and its future.
“Infrastructure is extremely important to us, which is why we are developing very dynamically. A year ago, on October 22, we opened a new, well-equipped facility. Students from around the world who choose our university have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art equipment at both global and European levels,” said President and Founder of VPU, Doc. Henryk Stefanek, in his speech. He also highlighted the dedication and contribution of administrative staff and lecturers in the university’s development.
A special moment of the event was the presentation of a symbolic gift to the President – a painting commemorating the jubilee.
The ceremony was further enriched by a performance from the band VOX, providing the audience with unforgettable artistic experiences.
During the ceremony, the most distinguished employees, both current and those who had supported the University over the years, were honored with Vincent Pol Medals and commemorative medals for the 25th anniversary.
After the official part, participants were invited to a reception where a jubilee cake featuring the Univesity’s logo, symbolizing this special anniversary, was served.
Guests also had the opportunity to watch a specially prepared film beautifully showcasing the university’s development over the years. The celebrations were complemented by a photography exhibition, presenting the history of Vincent Pol University, allowing those gathered to take a journey through the past years.
