A physiotherapy student from Vincent Pol University secured the first place in the World Cup

Anastasia Reutova, a first-year physiotherapy student at Vincent Pol University, can boast of a significant success. She outperformed her competitors in powerlifting triathlon and stood at the highest spot on the podium.

The XPC World Cup powerlifting triathlon competition took place on Wednesday in Siedlce. Competitions organized by the XPC Federation (Extreme Powerlifting Coalition) are gaining increasing popularity.

– My tasks involved lifting weights in deadlift, bench pressing, and squatting with weights – Anastasia Reutova enumerates. – In the deadlift, I achieved a result of 150 kg, 75 kg in the bench press, and 117.5 kg in the squat.

With a total score of 342.5 kg, Anastasia had no equals and surpassed her competitors, securing the first place.

– I have been training since February of this year, with a coach. I have also participated in several sports tournaments. How do I assess my result in Siedlce? There is always room for improvement, but I am satisfied – emphasizes Anastasia. – Now I am a bit tired and have muscle soreness, but I am not resting on my laurels. I will continue to fight.

Ahead of Anastasia are the next challenges, this time the academic championships of the Lublin Voivodeship in powerlifting, which will take place next Saturday in Lublin. Competitors will face challenges in lifting weights in deadlift and bench pressing.

– I am positively oriented towards victory

– assures Anastasia.

As she says, it is possible to combine passion with studies if one wishes to do so.

Congratulations and best wishes for further successes!
