Africa Day under the patronage of VPU

A unique event – Africa Day – will take place at Litewski Square on Saturday, 25 May. It is co-organised by Vincent Pol University.

As the organisers assure, Africa Day will not only be an opportunity to celebrate and have fun, but also a time to reflect on Africa’s rich heritage and its enormous contribution to world culture, art and social development.  It will be a unique opportunity to learn about the fascinating history, traditions and music of the African continent.

We invite you to an extraordinary cultural exchange between Poland and Africa. During this event, we will have the opportunity to participate in various activities such as an African fashion show, a panel discussion and an exhibition of African art,” encourages Abraham Diomande, the initiator of the project, who came to Poland to study medicine.

There will also be an exciting gospel performance that is sure to touch the hearts of all present.

This will be a unique opportunity to learn and understand African culture and tradition. We cordially invite everyone to this unique event,” adds Abraham Diomande.

The African Day starts at 2 p.m. Participation in the event is free of charge.
