If you are an international student, ambitious, actively involved in your university’s activities, or engaged in community service, apply for the “Interstudent” competition and earn the title of the best international student in Poland.
In the 14th edition of the “Interstudent” competition, as every year, we will reward the best international students obtaining education at Polish universities. We are looking for good, interesting, and ambitious students, but above all, those who are active and engaged in the academic environment of their university,
encourage the competition organizers from the “Perspektywy” Educational Foundation.
The condition for participation in the competition is the candidate’s activity in the local student community – cultural, social, ecological, sports, as well as good academic results and participation in interesting research projects. Candidates can be nominated by their lecturers, university authorities, international cooperation offices, as well as student councils, or colleagues.
Prizes are awarded in three categories: bachelor’s studies, master’s studies, and doctoral studies. There is also a special award for outstanding achievements and involvement of the student. The jury’s work is supervised by Prof. Jerzy Lis, Chairman of the Commission for International Cooperation of KRASP, Rector of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.
Students from Lublin have won in previous editions of the competition. For example, in 2014, in the bachelor’s studies category, Vitalij Smygur, a student of economics at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University from Ukraine, emerged victorious. Similarly, in 2019, Danylo Funtovoi from Ukraine, an architecture student at the Lublin University of Technology, received a special award.

The announcement of the competition results will take place on February 8, 2024, during the gala accompanying the “Foreign Students in Poland 2024” conference at the Poznań University of Technology.
