The end of last week was marked by the Education Fair. Staff from the Admission and Promotion Department of Vincent Pol University visited Siedlce and then Włodawa, where they encouraged young people to recruit for 2024/2025 intake.
The Education Fair is not only an event where young people can learn about the offers of universities and schools, but also an excellent opportunity to broaden their knowledge of different educational paths and career prospects. Both the fair in Siedlce and in Włodawa were very popular with young people.
– Every year there are more and more visitors. Last year we recorded about 5,000 people at the fair, and this year we expect even more interest, – said Aneta Jędrychowicz, co-organiser of the fair in Siedlce.
Vincent Pol University’s stand in the colours of red and navy blue attracted the attention of students, who approached with interest to talk to representatives of our university. Medical faculties were of particular interest, although there was no shortage of questions about the VPU’s new Management course.
– In my secondary school final exams I would like to study biology in addition to basic subjects. I am interested in dietetics, architecture, I am also considering a physiotherapy course, – emphasised Wiktoria, a student of Vocational School Complex No. 1 from Włodawa.
Today’s labour market is extremely dynamic and demanding. Therefore, for many young people it is important not only to get an education, but also to have practical and social skills that are valued by employers. Vincent Pol University places significant attention on practical skills, recognising their key role in preparing students to enter the labour market.
