Adrian Gieleta, an experienced physiotherapist, fondly recalls his time at Vincent Pol University and the successes he achieved with the knowledge and skills he acquired there. Discover the story of a man who turned his passion into his profession.
Why did you choose physiotherapy?
I have always enjoyed helping others. I trained swimming from a young age, which put me in contact with physiotherapists. I really enjoyed it and decided that I wanted to help others in a similar way myself.
Are you satisfied with your studies at VPU?
The university was a great choice. The level of teaching is very high and I have had the opportunity to meet great lecturers and fantastic fellow students.
How did your career progress after graduation?
After completing my Bachelor’s degree in 2015, I started working at the Military Hospital Rehabilitation Centre. There I furthered my knowledge of physiotherapy. I love working with patients and get great satisfaction from helping them.
How do you recall your university?
It was a special time. I had the opportunity to represent the university at the Polish Academic Swimming Championships and I met a lot of great people. The university enabled me to gain practical skills in various hospitals in and outside of Lublin. Additionally, I have completed various courses such as PNF and mobilisation.
Would you recommend Vincent Pol University to others?
I would definitely recommend this university. The level of teaching is high and the lecturers are experienced. It is a great institution that is thriving.
What would you wish Vincent Pol University on the occasion of its 25th anniversary?
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Vincent Pol University, I would like to wish all staff, students and graduates all the best, further development and many academic successes.
