This Sunday, October 22nd, marks the XXIV inauguration of the 2023/2024 Academic Year at Vincent Pol University. The ceremony will be combined with the opening of the modern university building – the Medical Sciences Center.
The Center is located adjacent to the university’s existing building at Choiny Street 2, with both buildings connected to create a shared complex. The new four-story Medical Sciences Center will primarily accommodate students of Physiotherapy and Beauty Science.
With over 4,200 square meters of space, the center features state-of-the-art offices, labs, exercise rooms, as well as laboratories and two amphitheater halls. The facility is equipped with the latest medical equipment.
The building also houses a spacious library, and a bistro bar will operate on the ground floor. New parking spaces have also been provided. Furthermore, a full-size multi-purpose sports field will be built next to the complex.
Inauguration Program:
9:30 AM – Holy Mass at the Church of St. Andrew Bobola (Paderewskiego Street 20)
11:30 AM – Opening ceremony of the Medical Sciences Center (entrance from Szwajcarska Street)
12:00 PM – Ceremonial inauguration of the 2023/2024 academic year in the new AWP auditorium (B-213)
