President of Lublin invites students, doctoral candidates, researchers, and academic organizations to participate in a competition aimed at promoting Lublin as a friendly academic center.
Do you have an idea that could help strengthen Lublin’s position on the academic map of Poland and the world? This is a unique opportunity to combine passion with action. The “Academic Lublin” competition offers the chance to receive funding of up to 15,000 PLN for implementing an innovative project that will promote Lublin as a dynamic scientific hub.
The thematic scope includes topics ranging from modern technologies, through social innovations, to environmental protection issues.
The competition offers funding in four categories:
- 15,000 PLN – for the largest projects
- 10,000 PLN – for ambitious initiatives
- 5,000 PLN – for medium-scale events
- 2,000 PLN – for smaller, yet equally important activities
Eligible projects include:
- Conferences
- Academic competitions
- Student and doctoral research projects
- Festivals, workshops, and scientific tournaments
- Thematic guided tours of Lublin for newly arrived students and researchers in English and Polish
- Events that integrate students with the local community
- Other activities that align with the competition’s goals
Application documents will be accepted from October 1 to October 31, 2024. Project implementation is planned from February 1 to December 10, 2025.
