The all new library in VPU is ready for our students!

Good news for both students and lecturers at the Vincent Pol University. You can now borrow books in the university’s new library.

Until now, the library has operated on the first floor of the university’s main building. However, its space was not very large and the look was outdated. This has now changed.

At the end of October, the university opened a modern Medical Science Centre, which not only houses teaching rooms, physiotherapy laboratories and cosmetology surgeries, but also a new library and reading room. These were systematically arranged and books were moved here from the main building.

The library and reading rooms are modernly furnished, with three times the floor space of the old building. Computers are available in the reading room for everyone to use, and the library itself has 22,000 volumes on a wide range of subjects. Students and lecturers from every faculty will find books and exercises from their field of study, as well as from many other areas of interest.

This place also has its own unique atmosphere. Students don’t just come to the library to borrow or return something.

– Sometimes they come to talk about what’s going, to throw something out or to boast about something,”

says Barbara Stanisławska, who manages the library at the Vincent Pol University.

Here they meet new colleagues and make new friends. That is why this place is worth visiting.

The library in the new Academy building is located on the first floor and is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30 am till 3:30 pm.
You are very welcome!
