From November 6th to 8th, the 9th edition of the International Interdisciplinary Conference took place at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in Nigeria. This event was organized in partnership with universities from Uganda, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Poland, and Slovakia.
Representing Vincent Pol University, the Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Dorota Stefanek-Langham Ph.D, delivered a lecture titled “Delirium in Post-Operative Emergency Care Cases.”
“This conference is a highly significant event for our university, enhancing and enriching our collaboration with other institutions around the world,” emphasized the Vice-Rector. “It offers our faculty new opportunities to publish and to participate in international academic gatherings. It is a fantastic occasion to exchange experiences and diverse perspectives. I hope we will continue to be part of similar events in the future,” she added.
The conference brought together scholars and practitioners from across the globe, focusing on the theme “Global Development and Contemporary Challenges to Security.” The event included panel discussions and thematic sessions dedicated to addressing key contemporary issues and exploring innovative solutions to global security challenges. The primary focus areas included:
Social Sciences and Global Security Challenges: Analyzing the social and political dimensions of security in various regions of the world.
Medical and Health Sciences and Global Security Challenges: Discussing health challenges arising from increasing globalization and rapidly evolving threats.
Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems in Security Solutions: Presenting modern approaches and technologies for prevention and crisis management.
