We are proud to announce that our Rector, PhD Mariusz Korczyński, Professor VPU, representing the Vincent Pol University, has joined the group of rectors of nine universities in Lublin who have declared their cooperation to help the City of Lublin win the title of European Capital of Culture 2029!
The rectors and the Mayor of Lublin, Krzysztof Żuk, signed letters of intent, pledging to support culture and contribute to the long-term development of our beautiful city.
This is an incredibly important initiative for us, exposing the unity and strength of academic Lublin, emphasising that together we can speak with one voice.
– Beginning with Lublin’s aspirations to become a European Capital of Culture, we are joining forces to support the contribution of cultures to the sustainable development of the city.
