Just over a year and a half ago, in June 2022, Vincent Pol University celebrated the signing of the erection act and the laying of the cornerstone for the construction of the Center for Medical Sciences.
Since the spring of the previous year, we have documented the construction work in photos as the new VPU facility took shape. See how the walls of the Center grew and the surroundings changed. This Sunday, we will officially open our new facility during the inauguration of the academic year 2023/2024.
The Academic Center for Medical Sciences has four stories and is connected to the current VPU building. In this modern facility equipped with the latest medical equipment, future healthcare professionals will acquire their education.
The new building includes practical and lecture rooms, laboratories and more. On the ground floor, you’ll find a bistro bar and beauty science rooms. The first floor features classrooms, a rehabilitation hall, and a library. The building also includes two amphitheater halls with large screens.
In front of the Center, new parking spaces have been created, greenery added, and plans are in place to construct a full-size multi-purpose sports field.
